Terms of Service
By accessing or using Article Launcher ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Account Terms
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account via Google OAuth.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
- One person or entity may maintain multiple organizations, but each account must represent a real person.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Article Launcher to:
- Generate or distribute spam, unsolicited bulk content, or misleading material
- Create content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API and interface
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
Article Launcher operates on a Bring Your Own Key model for AI services. You are solely responsible for:
- Providing and managing your own API keys for third-party AI providers
- All usage charges incurred through your API keys
- Compliance with the terms of service of the underlying AI provider
- Rotating or revoking keys if you suspect unauthorized access
We store your API keys encrypted and use them only to make requests on your behalf. We are not responsible for charges incurred through your keys.
4. Billing and Subscriptions
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@articlelauncher.com for refund requests.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored until renewal.
5. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content generated through Article Launcher, including articles, headlines, and any other output. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime or SLA. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Article Launcher and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Article Launcher, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period (see our Privacy Policy).
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
